Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has officially announced the Phase II (Mains) Result for the recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE). Candidates who appeared for the Mains examination conducted on 08 November 2025 can now check their qualifying status on the official portal.According to the official notification, a total of 1,119 candidates have successfully cleared the Mains phase and are now eligible to move to the Interview (Phase III) stage. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 841 vacancies across Generalist and Specialist streams.

  • Candidates must have a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized university.   • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and must have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). They should also be an Associate Member of ICAI. The age limit is 21 to 30 years, i.e., candidates must be born between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2004 (both dates inclusive).
AAO (CS) 10
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and be a qualified member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). The age limit is 21 to 32 years, i.e., candidates must be born between 02 August 1993 and 01 August 2004 (both dates inclusive).
AAO (Actuarial) 30
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian university and must have passed at least 6 papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. They must also provide their membership number for verification. The age limit is 21 to 30 years, i.e., candidates must be born between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2004 (both dates inclusive).
AAO (Insurance Specialist) 310
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with a professional qualification in Life Insurance (Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India). They should also have at least 5 years of experience working in IRDAI-regulated Life Insurance Companies. The age limit is 21 to 30 years, i.e., candidates must be born between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2004 (both dates inclusive).
AAO (Legal) 30
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PwBD). They should be enrolled with the Bar Council as an Advocate and must have at least 2 years of experience either as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a bank, financial institution, statutory corporation, company, or State/Central Government. The age limit is 21 to 32 years, i.e., candidates must be born between 02 August 1993 and 01 August 2004 (both dates inclusive).
