 How to Change PAN Card Details 
  • There may be errors in your name, your parent's name, or your date of birth when your PAN card is issued. Additionally, your name or address may change after the card has been issued. In such cases, it is important to update the PAN card with the correct information, including your name, parent’s name, address, or date of birth. You can update these details either online or offline.

How To Apply

  1. Visit Official Portals: Choose either Protean (NSDL) or UTIITSL websites.

  2. Form Selection: For Indian Citizens, select Form 49A. For Foreign Citizens/NRIs, select Form 49AA.

  3. Fill Details: Enter your name, father’s name, and date of birth exactly as they appear on your Aadhaar Card.

  4. Mode of Submission:

    • Digital (Paperless): Use Aadhaar e-KYC. No physical documents needed. (Fastest)

    • Physical: Print the form, paste photos, sign, and mail it to the NSDL/UTI office.

  5. Payment: Pay the fee online via UPI, Debit/Credit Card, or Net Banking.

  6. Delivery: A physical card usually arrives at your home within 15–20 working days.
