Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the window for the Option-cum-Preference Form for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025. Following the successful conduct of the Tier-II Exam on 18-19 January 2026, all candidates who appeared in Tier-II are required to submit their preferences for various posts and departments. Please note that if you do not submit your post preference within the given time, you will not be considered for the final merit list. Login to Portal: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in and log in using your Registration Number and Password.

Find Preference Link: Once logged in, look for the "Option-cum-Preference Form" link specifically for CGL 2025.

Choose Your Posts: You will see a list of various departments (like Income Tax, GST, CBI, etc.). Select them in your order of priority (1st choice, 2nd choice, and so on).

Review Carefully: Double-check the post codes and your order. Remember, you cannot change these preferences after the final submission.

Final Submit: Click on the Submit button and make sure you receive a confirmation message.

Save Copy: Download the PDF or print the confirmation page for your records.

Important Questions
| Question: Who needs to fill out the SSC CGL Post Preference Form? | Answer: Every candidate who appeared in the Tier-II Exam (held on 18-19 January 2026) must fill out this form. Even if you think your marks are low, you must submit preferences to remain in the selection process. |
