Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has activated the Self Slot Booking facility for candidates appearing in the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. This allows candidates to manually select their preferred Exam City, Date, and Shift for the Computer Based Examination (CBE) scheduled from 04 to 15 February 2026.

  • Maximum Age : 25-27 Years 
  • SSC provides age relaxation for the MTS / Havaldar position as per their regulations.

  • Candidates Must Have Passed Class 10 from any recognized board. Physical requirements: Male – 1600m walk in 15 mins, height 157.5 cm, chest 81 cm (fully expanded with minimum expansion of 5 cms.) ; Female – 1 km walk in 20 mins, height 152 cm. For more details, check the official notification.

How To Download

  1. Login: Visit ssc.gov.in and log in using your Registration Number and Password.

  2. Access Portal: On your dashboard, click on the link "Select City, Exam Date, Shift" under the MTS/Havaldar 2025 section.

  3. Check Availability: Click on "Get Slot Details" to see available dates and shifts for your chosen cities.

  4. Select Slot: Choose a slot marked in Green. If a slot is full, it will not be selectable.

  5. Verify via OTP: Click "Validate & Submit" and enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.

  6. Confirmation: Once confirmed, save the confirmation page. You will need this for reference until your admit card is released on 31 January 2026.

Important Questions

Question: Is SSC MTS self-slot booking mandatory? Answer: Yes, it is highly recommended to receive your preferred city and shift. Candidates who miss the 25 Jan deadline must confirm participation by 28 Jan (11 PM) to receive an admit card.
Question: Can I change my exam city or shift after booking? Answer: No, once you have validated and submitted your slot selection, no changes will be allowed under any circumstances.
Question: When will the SSC MTS Admit Card 2026 be released? Answer: he status and city intimation will be out on 30 January 2026, and final admit cards will be available 2-3 days before your specific exam date.
Question: What happens if all slots in my preferred city are full? Answer: You will need to choose an alternative date or select from the other exam cities you opted for during the application process.
